The Meizu M2 Note was launched in June 2015 and featured as the successor to Meizu M1 Note. The M2 Note offers a solid set of features and specifications, while keeping the price competitive the phone turns out to be a real competitor with other smartphones.  
The Meizu M2 Note features a 5.5 inches IGZO IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The display has enabled multi-touch while houses a 403 ppi rich screen. The phone is powered by a Mediatek MT6753 chipset clocked to a 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 Octa-core processor and a 2GB RAM.   
The phone runs on Android OS version 5.0.0 (Lollipop), with the help of Flyme 4.5 UI skin. The phone comes with a 16/32 GB internal memory and is expandable upto 128 GB. The 13 MP rear camera is assisted with a dual-LED (dual tone) flashlight and the front camera is of 5MP. HD video recording can be done at frames like 1080p@60fps, and 720p@120fps. The phone has a solid build quality which is made with high quality plastic. Even though glass and metal have not been used in the phone, it looks premium due to its amazing build quality.
The phone is quite big with its dimensions as 5.94 x 2.96 x 0.34 inches and weighs only 149 grams. The 3100 mAh non-removable battery provided in the phone works well.
The display is sharp and produces pleasing colors. The screen is surprisingly bright while it is protected by AGC Dragontrail/NEG T2X-1 tempered glass. The Flyme 4.5 skin running on the set work smoothly and looks decent. The skin lacks an app drawer and supports tons of tweaks and neat gestures. The MediaTek MT6753 chipset proves more than enough for providing a smooth and lag free performance. The set is dual-SIM enabled while supports 4G for limited bands only. The camera works neatly for this price range and captures great looking macros and highly detailed images. The selfie cam performs way better than other smartphones present in this class. Battery works great and you can use it for a complete day that too with heavy usage.
Meizu M2 Note competes with Samsung Galaxy E5 and Micromax Canvas Knight 2. When compared to Samsung Galaxy E5, the camera and RAM of Meizu M2 Note are better whereas when compared to Micromax Canvas Knight 2, M2 Note comes at a lesser price tag and performs better. 
The Meizu M2 Note is one of the best smartphone that is available in the sum-10000 price range. With sharp display, smooth performance with no observable micro lag, nifty UI and decent battery life the phone turns out to be an affordable wonder.
