Let’s see if this smartphone has what it takes to survive in the sub-Rs. 20000 smartphone segment.
The Lenovo Vibe X3 features a 5.5 inches LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. A Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection is provided on the display, while the screen houses approximately 401 pixels per inch. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset clocked to Hexa-core processor and backed by 3GB RAM. The phone runs on Android OS version 5.1 i.e. Lollipop. High resolution videos can also be recorded using the camera at frames like 2160p@30fps.
The phone carries a very premium appearance and carries a strong resemblance of Lenovo Vibe K4 Note. The front screen looks enormous at the first glance, while the speaker grille enhances the persona of the phone. The back of the phone houses the 21MP camera below which a fingerprint scanner has been provided.
The phone is huge as its dimensions are 6.06 x 3.01 x 0.37 inches. Weighing 175 grams, the phone is bulky and you cannot use it for long duration of time. A 3500 mAh battery provided in the phone is non-removable.

This time Lenovo has provided near stock Android UI and we have no reason to complain about that. For users not liking this feature, Lenovo has provided the option to switch back to single layered layout, but then again not many would prefer this. The camera provided in the phone is good and that’s about it. The images clicked in broad daylight are good, but sometimes they could turn out to be shaky. Images clicked in dim light conditions are decent enough. The battery provided in the phone works great and you can easily the phone for one day with heavy usage.
The phone finds competition from Nexus 5X and Vivo X5 Pro. When compared to Nexus 5X, Vibe X3 comes at lesser price tag, while comparing to Vivo X5 Pro, it has bigger display and more RAM.
